Side wall flaps can be used for optimal ventilation of your stable. One or more ventilation flaps are operated with a drive . The racks are connected to the drive system via a connecting shaft. They enable precise control of the supply air. The side wall flap can be divided into several flap sections depending on the climate zone. The rotating bearing enables all the individual segments to be combined to form a large, freely movable facade.
Burglary protection for poultry
For poultry, run-off flaps with burglar protection are often used to prevent unwanted access to the interior of the barn by animals that prey on poultry.
This is what makes this form of ventilation so special
- For an optimal stable climate and animal welfare
- Simple and flexible installation
- Durable and robust
- Enables precise supply air control and cross ventilation
- Low maintenance and noise
The wind also plays an important role in the opening width of the side flaps. By connecting the drives to the SBE farm management system and thus also to a weather station, the wind speed/direction can be measured and the information passed on. If the preset maximum wind speed is exceeded, the ventilation flaps react according to the specified setting. For example, the ventilation elements on the windward side may be closed, while the position of the ventilation flaps on the leeward side remains open. Rain also influences the position of the ventilation flaps. These can be moved to the preset position to prevent the bedding from becoming damp.
