Lock news about studying agriculture at the DHBW

New: Agriculture as a dual study program - Lock is a partner company

We are delighted to announce that we will be a partner of the new dual study program in agriculture from this year.

Students now have the opportunity to gain practical experience with us and at the same time acquire an academic degree - Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics - from the DHBW Ravensburg University of Applied Sciences.

The Bachelor's degree program in Agricultural Economics teaches students a broad range of topics related to agricultural economics, including agricultural production, agricultural policy, environmental and resource management as well as marketing and sales of agricultural products. Students work in a dual format, i.e. they complete six practical phases during their studies, in which they work in companies and organizations and gain practical experience. The theoretical study phases alternate with the practical phases every three or six months.

As a partner of the dual study course in agriculture, we offer students practical training and give them an insight into the many different areas of our company. There are many interesting topics that students can get to know at our company. During their studies, students work in various departments of our company, gain practical experience and put their acquired knowledge directly into practice.

The Bachelor's degree course in Agricultural Economics concludes with the academic degree "Bachelor of Science". With this degree, graduates are qualified to work in various areas of agriculture or to pursue further studies.
